If you continue using the car between the quote and pickup, advise the buyer of new damage, faults or a significant change in kilometres. Agree which accessories, spare keys and service records are included. Avoid removing included parts without updating the arrangement.
Prepare registration and personal items
Ask how the vehicle's registration, plates and any required safety certificate will be handled for your sale. Remove belongings and toll tags, then clear paired phones and personal addresses from vehicle systems. Keep identity documents secure for the agreed ownership check.
Check the final handover
Confirm the pickup window, location, payment method and person attending. Review the completed vehicle and sale details before signing. Retain the agreed records and proof of payment, and release the keys and vehicle in line with the confirmed arrangement.
