Identify the truck configuration
Include the make, model, year, GVM if known, axle configuration and body type, such as a tray, van body or tipper. State whether attached equipment is included. Do not assume that a quote for a light truck also covers a heavier commercial vehicle.
Describe operating and loading condition
Tell us whether the truck starts, steers, brakes and rolls, and whether tyres hold air. Provide approximate height and length if the body has been modified. Mention seized brakes, air-system problems or equipment that cannot be lowered before a collection plan is made.
Confirm suitability before clearing the site
Share driveway width, overhead clearance, yard opening times and site contact details. Ask the team to confirm vehicle limits and any recovery requirements for this truck. Remove tools, stock and cargo unless they have explicitly been included in the agreement.
